θ¦εζ€ζ» is an eye test or vision test in English.
It's something you'll almost certainly encounter at some point during your life in Japan.
Until I moved to Japan, I thought there was only one kind of eye test, the type where you read lines of letters that gradually get smaller.
I soon discovered there are other methods π
A typical Japanese eye test at the driver's license center uses something completely different to check your vision.
