What does Ohazassu mean?
Lots of people ask me what Ohazassu means. It comes from a casual, shortened version of ohayou gozaimasu—a cheerful “good morning” in Japanese. An old friend and I started using it waaaaaaay back and we even further abbreviate it to "huzz" sometimes.
What do you do on Ohazassu?
It's where I share things about work, culture, travel, language, and all the little things that make living here interesting.
I also enjoy visiting local businesses, chatting with owners and staff, and sharing their stories. It’s a great way to show the human side of Japan and connect with the people who make each place special.
