Nittaiji: Buddha's Remains Are Here?
Today, I cycled to Nittaiji Temple, a unique symbol of Japan-Thailand friendship in Nagoya.
Established in 1904, it enshrines sacred Buddha relics gifted by Thailand’s royal family. Unlike most temples, Nittaiji isn’t tied to a single Buddhist sect, welcoming visitors of all backgrounds. The peaceful grounds and beautiful architecture made for a rewarding stop on my ride.
Whether you’re exploring by bike or on foot, this temple offers a fascinating glimpse into Buddhist heritage and cultural exchange.
