熱中症 / heatstroke
熱中症 (necchūshō) refers to heat-related illness caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures and insufficient hydration. Common symptoms include dizziness, headache, and nausea, and in severe cases, it can be life-threatening. In Japan, especially during the humid summer months, public awareness campaigns encourage people to drink water regularly, avoid intense activity during peak heat, and watch for signs of 熱中症.
